In the second quarter of 2022, the top 5 air travel apps in Ecuador showed varied performance in terms of weekly downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at their trends, based on data from Sensor Tower.

avianca saw a decline in weekly downloads from 2.6K at the end of March to 1.5K by the end of June. Active users also decreased from 5.3K to 4.3K over the same period.

LATAM Airlines experienced fluctuating downloads, peaking at 1.9K in mid-June before dropping to 1.4K by the end of the quarter. Active users saw an upward trend, starting at 5.7K and reaching 6.2K by the end of June.

Copa Airlines maintained relatively stable download numbers, fluctuating between 677 and 894 weekly downloads. Active users remained steady, hovering around 2.4K to 2.5K throughout the quarter.

American Airlines showed a slight increase in downloads from 510 to 668 by early May, but then saw a decline to 447 by the end of June. Active users peaked at 2.4K in early May before decreasing to 2K by the end of the quarter.

Jetcost: flights, hotels, cars had a varied download trend, starting at 560 and reaching 746 in mid-June, before ending the quarter at 492. Active users increased from 497 to 663 by mid-June, then slightly declined to 523 by the end of June.
